↓kinda related to the fireworks post... kotori-san sent me this awesome pika pika project (in japan) you tube link and it is just amazing!!! i guess they used pen lights to do this but i can't imagine how long they took to make this movie! wow.

remember? i told you about how daniel is on computer first thing in the morning and last thing at night? well now you know, this is it ;)
毎日朝起きて一番最初にする事はコンピューター、夜一番最後にやる事もコンピューターです。
いつもなにかiPhoneの事をやっているみたいで(ハックしたのでアイコンやインターフェイスのデザインをかえています)いつも飽きずに、かなりのオタッキーです... ^^;

we just had a family 4th of july bbq at our house with kai's grandparents and his great uncle. then what do you know, we are all proud iphone owners! ha ha ha. too bad my parents weren't here to add 2 more in the circle (actually we are also proud apple computer owners too! we should get sponsored by apple ;)
mine is the yellow one since i seem to lose my phone in my purse or around the house constantly, i decided to get the bright color case to spot it easily ;) most of us have this incase slider case and they are really awesome case and come in lots of different colors. we totally recommend this case if you are looking for a good iphone case.

i got this new wii game called ea active and it's so awesome! (so far anyways) i desperately need to lose weight and want to get in shape this summer, so i was excited to buy this game, not to mention it's getting awesome reviews. well, so far, i think this game is a lot better than wii fit because...
1. there's variety of exercises to choose from, not just like 20 moves on each sections
2. everyday is different combination of exercises (upper and lower body) so doesn't get repetitive and boring
3. i really sweat and "feel" that's working...yes, i wake up with sore muscles
4. it's designed to increase the intensity of exercises over time (like 30-day challenge) so you can really "work out" your body and hopefully get in shape!
5. i like how it constantly have "calorie burned" and "total time of exercise" on screen to see my progress
well, i 'll report how this work out in a month or so. i hope combination of doing this game and go on a walk almost everyday will do something to my body... i just have to be good and actually keep doing it rather than staring at the game ;) wish me luck!

brought japanese macbook home when we went to japan so i can type japanese on certain occasions that may come up. and believe it or not, when i google things, results are different even tho i type exact same thing! altho, could be very similar when you google "american" things.
anyways, some people ask me "how do you type japanese" or "what does keyboard look like" so here it is. pretty much same as american one but has few extra keys at the bottom (see both side of space bar?) to change the input from english to japanese and obviously there's japanese characters on some keys.
if you care to see some example of how to type japanese, go to cont. reading.

so if i wanna type "park" in japanese, i have to type "kouen" on the keyboard (that is "park" in japanese). as i type that, the computer automatically changes those "kouen" letters to 4 hiragana characters on the screen. notice that underline on the characters? that means i can change those hiragana characters to kanji characters if i wanted to (which you usually do).

to change to kanji characters, you hit space bar. then those drop down menu will come up and usually in order which you will most likely to use, this time it's the top highlighted one for the "park."
ok, then what's all the other ones on the drop down menu? well, they also pronounce exactly as "kouen" but different meaning. like in english, "too," "to," "two" pronounce the same but has different meaning, right? it's same thing and you can always tell which one you are talking about in context.
did you guys kinda get the idea now or did i confuse you guys? :)
i guess i'm a day late to find this out but wow!!! that would definitely be a revolutionary laptop! that is awesome :) ha ha ha.
