i've been wanting this puppy thing by eero aarnio for a while. now i guess CB2 carries it too. CB2 only have this orange one but there's actually green, white, and blue ones. they are super cute and i think this will be a cute toy for kai to ride on etc :)

he is super flexible and he thinks he has four hands! he likes to grab things with his feet and use them as hand. he can pretty much hold his bottle with his feet. amazing ^o^

we got curious so we drove by our new home this afternoon. it looks like they are working on the front landscape and the exterior paint was still blotchy, so not done. the only thing we both don't like about the house is the color of front door. it's like dark lavender-ish color and totally out of place! we totally wanna paint it, oh and i guess we don't like the fake shutters on the back of the house too. backyard is a decent size and we have to landscape it sometime...it'll probably be a while to finish that!

walked around neighborhood and noticed some cute flowers. of course 5 min. in, it started sprinkling so we had to go home :P

he's been very talkative lately. he sounds almost like some kind of kitty going crazy (and a bit ear
piercing noise...).

we bought this house today and it's a tax day so we'll never forget the day! i think it's a good "first home" and we're definitely excited but the idea of "home owner" haven't sunk in yet. i wish it's as cool as the modern home we looked at few weeks ago but they are a little too $$ for us right now... that's still our dream home and we'll live in one of those in the future tho! anyhoo, this our house is still being built and painted etc. so i'll post some pics later when it looks a bit better but til then, here is the floor plan.

ever since i moved here in east bay, i always have seen these hills in golden brown. it rained a bit few months ago and they have been amazingly green. i'm sure the golden colors are coming up as we are approaching to summer time. ugh, gross again!

i've been looking for a cute alarm clock since my alarm clock is like a decade old and starting to fall apart a bit. i came across this one called Furni. i like the modern retro feel but the only bad thing is the "no snooze button on top" thingie...i mean i don't know what i do to alarm clock when i'm half asleep. i get really pissed at alarm that i hit it really hard and i definitely don't wanna break this one in a day. i guess i gotta think about that factor...

P.S. Furni also have cute stuff like faux wood pillows and solid maple earrings! i want them ;)

kai's been a cry baby a lot lately. he is especially bad during bath time, he HATES IT for some reason. i don't get it, he was in a "water" for 9 months, why doesn't he like it? the best part is that his voice echoes real well in there, yes, how lovely! i need a pair of ear plug! i wish kai came with a magic "mute" button for me to push when i get fed up!!
