I was asked what Waldron meant at work so i decided to do some homework on the subject...
WALDRON
from a Germanic personal name composed of the elements walh 'foreigner' + hrafn 'raven.'
habitational name from a place in Sussex named Waldron, from Old English w(e)ald 'fores' + ærn 'house.' 'dwelling.' The surname is now also common in Ireland, especially in Connacht.
