love the bright orange color! how is everyone's summer so far? i can't believe it's september already. this year is flying by...

eggplant

it's actually a little while back but this was our first eggplant from the veggie garden. there's just tons of eggplant growing one after another and i can't keep up on eating them since d+k don't eat them :(

ちょっと前になりますが家のベジタブルガーデンで初めて出来た日本の長ナス。この後はもうナスがなり放題で（ダニエルとカイは食べないので）食べきるのに困っているので最近はお友達にあげたりしています。

walking around the neighborhood, it's been a nice, mild summer. but i guess it's gonna be the hottest day so far and gonna be 108 F. not looking forward to that :P

先月「ピンク　オア　ブルー」パーティーをしました。（かなりサボっていてやっとアップしました、汗） 私の友達のアンドリアがブログで同じようなパーティーをやったのでやろうと決めました。

dinner

made ginger beef rice burger for dinner. we marinated the meat in ginger, soy sauce, yakiniku (korean bbq) sauce and bbq-ed and put them in the rice patty i made. yum!　daniel is part of BBQ Wars and you can vote for this burger or your favorite burger here.
